[WIPz] Wall of Mods

Post » Tue Oct 12, 2010 5:29 pm

One for the 'Replacers: People' category: there's also a Better Bodies http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7326 by Psymoniser. And for head replacers there's the pluginless http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5883.

First of all. Whoa, I'm positively overwhelmed by all wonderful mods that's been send it. Thanks you guys for contributing to the WoM! (short of Wall of Mods, if anyone haven't figure that out).

@Illius: Kudos for another animations mods, it would be great to improve the realism, specially in the movements section. Anyhow, Dirnea has wrote in a thread around here that he's working on creating new animations. If you havn't seen it yet you can look it up http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=976489&st=20. Hope that all goes well for him, animations can turn out to be quite a tricky business sometimes.

@Povuholo, Helena: Kudos to you for contributing to the universal Pool of Knowledge. *Burp* And one of your mods also gave me an idea of how to further evolve the thread. All I say is, the newborn baby has finally started opening and using her pretty eyes. I Know, it's very metaphorical, but if you read the first column in this topic you might get what im talking about. Or maybe this one works better, that the lights has been turned on. Boy, I truly svcks on making up figurative. :P

I here hence that the level for version 1.1 of WoM has been reached. And so-far everything has gone smooth, let's hope it stays this way. Another thing, this wall of mods is really a wall of mod. It fine to work on it, but it takes quite some time to make the updates. So, if someone wanna help me with finding links to images of these mods or other mods, it will be most appreciated!

Love. Peach. Understanding. And no Cliff Racers. That's my motto :)

Edit: Got some sad news people. The lights is down. After trying 'em out a the message of terror appear and told me that I broke against the rules. I tried to bypass him but he keeps coming back at me. Anyway, there sure will be other routes to use to make it enjoyable. But, at the current time it's glum moment for the WoM.

Simple said. Icons (lightbulb) cant be used as screenshot-source because of the limitation of icons usage.

Whoa Whoa. Metaphorical speaking, man. No real babies was harmed during updating and making of this thread, no false babies to. It just can't see at the current hour because the light bulbs is gone. But, there will be other ways of making up for it, I will try to re-route and find out if some other things can be used as lighting source. Or at least vanquish the dark.

Hm, before this poor baby goes insane of being blind for such a long time. And it will probably starts screaming also, shees I really do not like the sound when babies scream. I need to find her some new additional supplies. But my brain is working as good as a drunken baboon at the time. I got some suggestions but I'm not really sure what to use, and if the thing I'm choosing in this current state will be a good choice.

Some of the selects are the following:
1. ☺
2. ☻
3. ♥
4. ♦
5. ♣
6. ♠
7. ?
8. ◘

Pick your choice please. I'm begging you like indian begger standing on the street without limbs nor vision. If that's not good enough, think of the poor babies condition.

I need to give her some new addition.

♥ is my favorite icon... then again I am not 100% sure what you are asking people to choose for.

Some kind of identification and icon for the screen shots links. The hearth, it's a powerful, trustworthy companion both in games and relations. Unfortunately I have already use it as a sign for showing the respect and honor I feel against the contributes of other mods, then the ones written.

The world is spinning around me head like gigantic jester. fooling with my thoughts and mind.

You're beginning to sound like my AP English instructor.

Anywho, I was just looking at that and realized you already used the heart. I would use the square thing then, since it kinda looks like a little screen imho.

You do not need both TR maps. TR1 is bundled with TR2...

Thanks for the information Foxhunter. I change it as soon as possible.

@ Linora: Well, if your English teacher is as disorientated as I am now I can't understand how you learned anything at all. :)
Well, time to feed the baby. Thanks for the material guys.

Edit: Foxhunter your wrong. Map number 2 does require the former map to. At least at PES they tell me that the Map 1 is required.
TR_Map2.esm is indeed dependent on TR_Map1.esm but the Map 2 download currently includes everything you need to play Maps 1 and 2 (as well as the 2 Map ESMs it has TR_Data.esm and TR_Data.bsa).

When Map 1 is updated (I think the next update will have the Map 1 main quest and currently identified bugs fixed and included) then one would need to download the 2 separate archives, as things stand now you just need to download Antediluvian Secrets.

Hm, you right he's not there. Maybe that's why he is so grumpy. . All I can find on that fellow is a four year old house-mod (http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1318) on PES. *Googling*. Holy Cow! Yeah ,he did indeed have some stuff out there, and also co-operations mods with (CoM) Emma. Wow, guess it's awesome material. I sure post some stuff on later today. The Wolf, Dog and Crossbow looks cool and useful. Always wanted a dog-companion since I played Fallout III, great discovery of you there my friend.

PS: If not to much ask. What song is played in your Tombs mod, it works absolutely brilliant in that area. Also, it looks really cool, kinda makes me think of the old hack-slash game Diablo.

Newsflash!

Added a couple additional mod links (specially some from the ex-moder Grumpy, may your soul rest in piece.) after a tip from a mate. Also putted up a link up for the best mod searching place in the history of mod searching sites. Well, despite that it doesn't sound so fantastic, it totally blows away PES search engine. It's found in the bottom the topic. Cheerios, and happy modification!

Kind of important information
Oh! And if you haven't already tried it out. Found out yesterday that there exist a tweak to increase the FPS when playing Morrowind. Yacoby has posted a small program that you let out turn off (literally) all unnecessary programs running in the background. It can be downloaded http://yacoby.silgrad.com/MW/Mods/FstrMW.htm. If your playing with the third-program like, "Wrye Mash" there is also a way.

1. Go into the Mopy directory
2. Change the title of the Wrye Mash short-cut into a single word. E.x. I changed it from "Wrye Mash for Python 2.5" into "Wrye".
3. Open the .bat file (instructions in above link). Now alter the row "start /w .\Morrowind Launcher.exe" into this "start /w .\Mopy\XX.lnk". Where XX represent the new short-cut title.
4. Open the .bat file and be prepared to press allot on the key "Y" and let the wonders of this nifty program do the rest.
And don't worry, all program will be re-started after quiting Morrowind.

There, and you are done! Simple.
Enjoy your new CPU power! :twirl:

If you have any problems, suggestions or ideas. Just post them down here, and I try to help you out the best and fastest I can.

Newsflash

I don't think there is really a reason to put up a comment for uploading single mod. But this is from Darknut, it's a clothing replacer and boy.. the elegance and precision in these new clothes is breath-talking. I added it the list and it even made the Pool of Knowledge smile out in joy. Do you know how often a pool smiles? It's not that often I tell you. Anyhow, it's up. Check it out. And hope you find it to your amusemant.

Cheerio.

This topic has been a great help to me, I installed about 10 mods if not more that I found here, thank you very much! After reading several warnings online about not installing to many mods when your quite unfamilliar with it, I found it easy to install all these mods and it works perfectly with about 15 mods.

I'm pleased that my little side-project could bring some joyfulness, :). if you find mods that not are here, but should be belong here. Please let me know and I post them quicker then a.. flying cliff racer addicted to skooma.

On further notice, if your planing on adding more mods to your game I recommend checking out these site: http://morrowind2009.wordpress.com/ I used it myself a couple month ago. Bascially, what it does it is turn your old RPG into a next-gen game both in game-play and landscape. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away! Enjoy, and happy morrowfication! :)
