Best game ever!

Definitely The Elder Scrolls, it has a total history that inspires me! Bethesda created an own world with their own history, what you want more as an RPG fan? Live a new life in another world? It sounds impossible! Bethesda made it more than possible. No other RPG serie could really make me so alive in the game as TES!

Well said. The lore, I love it! An actual written history, a working religious belief system with full-on creation myths, working economies (especially in Morrowind, with the egg/ebony mines), etc. A whole different world, that's realistic because of the dimensions they give it with stuff like this. Thank you, Bethesda.

It's a good platform, but as far as story and challenge, only the Thief's Guild quest, the Mage's Guild dream rescue quest, and Shivering Isles quest were fun stories. Other than that there is no mental challenge, no puzzles and mysteries in the game, almost everything is accomplished by brute force.

Morrowind was brilliant. Oblivion's themes are a bit too overused in medieval fantasy stories. And when you have a single player game, the story OR challenge level needs to be good IMO. Zelda for example, s h i t ty story, good challenge level. Morrowind, s h i t ty challenge, good story.

BUT that's if you believe games are good for their story and challenge. So many people are just enjoying Oblivion for the platform. The idea of what makes a good game has expanded to a good expandable platform (like DotA hahaha), and Oblivion is the best in this category.

I never had a game installed so much time. My old laptop died, I bought another and Oblivion was the first thing I installed, and I never played Morrowind or such games. I was a fan of Total War series.
