so far, i've not heard anything about shoes and accessories such as chains, wrist thingys and hats.

i only want to know about this stuff because i am designing my resistance and security character.

Shoes are part of the lower-body clothing (trousers).
There are some accessoires, such as face-patches and scars. Chains/necklaces are part of the upper-body clothing (rather inner than outer layer).
Hats/Headwear are in; just look at the screenshots. (As a matter of fact, you get exclusive headwear through the pre-order packs).

Hey man, when you go a shoe store do you randomly grab a pair of sneakers or do you look a lot before you choose a pair? I personally look at 20 different pairs of Nikes or 10 pairs of Asics......

BUT! What would you do if there were no shoe-stores; instead there were only trousers-stores and every time you buy trousers, you get a pair of shoes which you may not pick by yourself.

I'd buy two pair of shorts and wear one shoe from each pair of shorts

Buy the shorts I like and the shorts with the coolest shoes and wear those shoes.
