I used five skill books thinking that they would be a permanent boost to those stats, only to find that they wear off!! Now logically, when you read a book, you have learned that info permanently, or at least until you're old and senile. So what's with this character, is he too stupid and forgetful to remember info from a book? It makes no sense and should be fixed in an update to work like it did in Fallout 3.

Books are permanent boost of 3 (4 with comprehension) and skill magazines are only temporary.

AND a book (perm)

i guess its like from a magazine eventhough u read it you forget cause you are not really studying it.. (like in real life.. reading something cool stuff in maxim and about month or so you barely remember what was it about.. ... well atleast for me)

but the book you are studying it. so it gives you permenant..

and most important thing is... skill magazine has no weight but the book with permanent skill boost has wight of 1 and value is 50??

if i remember corretly.. (since i read always right after i got it)

magazine is no wight with value of 20

Books are 2 or 2.5 pounds.

Edit: "pounds" = "Weight Gain"

you magicly gain information then you magicly lose it after a time....its a magical wastland full of spells and unicorns and goblins.... O.o
