When and where do you get your first house? Right now i'm having to sell a lot of stuff that i normally would want to keep to use later but i can't carry it and without a house there is nowhere to stash it without the possibility of it being stolen. Can you use the abandoned house in goodsprings where you can sleep even tho it is technically not your home or is there still a possibility of stuff getting taken?

i have been keeping my stuff in the doc's house in goodsprings. I use the two firstaid containers and the footlocker and the ammo thing. they are all next to each other, you don't have to move around to get to the four containers.

Ive put everything into the safe at the school house so far. Im wondering when I can find a place other than the motel room I rented in novac.

I've been rooming with Easy Pete for now. A Fridge, Truck, and Closet.

People on PCs have checked and it seems there are no containers in Goodsprings that reset so anywhere there should be safe to stash stuff. There's also an abandoned building east of Goodspings (follow the giant cross) that is safe. The first normal home you'll probably come across is the motel room in Novac. Rent it once and you own it.

That's as far as I got so that's all I know.

Also keep in mind anything you drop on the floor will stay there through the entire game.
