I don't know if this has been asked but does Oblivion GOTY edition have SecurRom on it and if it does, will it do anything to my laptop? Hopefully the answer is no since I just bought the game, but I've been getting mixed answers from people when I search the web.

Game does have SecuROM on it, but it's really on the low side of the intrusion-scale. It's simply just a disc-checker really making sure you have the game disc in when you're trying to play the game. I believe you can make one backup of the disc if you don't wish to have the original one spinning.
