So I've unlocked both Audio Playbacks and had both the Brotherhood and the Followers proposition me for a chance to look at ED-E. This is actually a tough choice for me, as I'm a fan of both groups.

I haven't made contact with the Brotherhood up to this point, so would it be better to turn ED-E over to them, or turn 'em over to the Followers? Do the upgrades to his systems change depending on who you turn him in to? Just curious.

It's not really going to effect your fame towards either, BoS gives ED-E an armor upgrade the other gives him a Laser. Its your choice.
