Annoying error when trying to run Morrowind

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:55 am

So I found my old CD copy of Morrowind and I decided to install it on my new netbook (I borrowed my buddy's desktop and used it to create an .iso file, then transferred it to my netbook via flash drive and mounted it onto a virtual drive with Daemon Tools Lite.) It installed without a hitch, but when I run it I get this error message when it starts to go full screen:

Font 0 not found in .\Morrowind.ini. Current path: C:\Windows\system32

I tried using a different resolution and running it in different compatibility modes (XP SP2, SP3, Vista SP1 and 2.) How can I get past this problem? Thanks in advance :)

That error is generally the result of a http://support.gamesas.com/asp/resolution.asp?sid=012426100730071169054187&pid=1101&pnm=Morrowind&seid=2198&pos=Windows+XP&top=Error+Messages&rid=15790. It may be a result of your no-cd hack, but because of the hack, we cannot discuss it on this forum.
