PLOT
So my whole idea of this RP, is that it will focus around a small unit of Androids from the Commonwealth up north from the Capital Wasteland, and their task is to hunt down runaway slaves, androids, and other things that may not always include hunting someone or something. The group will start out in the Commonwealth as semi-knoweldgable Androids who've had some experience in the field of combat, and out in the wilds of the wastes; but aren't any particular experts. As the small unit of Androids is given missions, a larger side story will begin to unfold that will begin to connect the missions the unit is doing, and gradually a darker force will begin to appear to the unit, and then the real story of the Androids will begin and they'll be forced to make difficult decisions throughout their time in the wasteland, fighting off not only a hostile force, but also the creatures of the wasteland while trying to make things right.
This story will involve many different kinds of interesting characters that the unit will meet along its way, such as: petty wastelanders just trying to get by, thieving merchants, Jet/Psycho/Med-X King Pins, Gun Smugglers, Slavers/Human Trafficers, corrupt BoS Knights and Paladins trying to make some extra caps or get that special high, remnants of the East Coast Enclave, and many others that I have in mind.
(Also, I have yet to come up with a name for the RP, so any suggestions you may have would be nice.)
OTHER IMPORTANT TOPICS
Now an important thing as well, is since we're involving the main characters as Androids who have incredible strengths and abilities, I don't want peoples characters too overboard with what they can do. Their abilities can be well known to each other, but around the rest, the characters looks like anyone else and must be discreet about their actions and what they say. No one else but the Commonwealth would known that your character is an Android, so doing things like bending a huge metal I-beam, and punching a dent into the side of a steel wall wouldn't be a good idea in public areas, etc. So simply, keep your characters strengths and abilities not only low key, but keep them to a minimum. I don't want laser beam eyes, or rocket finger tips, or things like that. (Think more of a Harkness character, but with the knowledge and some "free will" of being an Android.) Another thing, is don't become too all God-like, and ruin the RP for the rest of us. Keep within reasonable bounds, while still being a little bit more powerful than an average human would be. (I will grant, that out in the wasteland, if you stomp on a Radroach, it will die and that fighting you will have an increase in speed and endurance. But don't be punching Death Claws or other big threats, and calling it a kill when you just punched it once.)
Also, since Androids in Fallout can carry more things than a regular human could, I'm prohibiting any player to carry a hundred pounds worth of ammunition of different kinds, and two Assault Rifles and two Rocket-Launchers on their person. I'll go into more detail and requirements when I write up a proper CS (Character Sheet) but I just wanted to make this very clear that anymore more is in violation, and would obviously make NPCs suspicious of the unit.
So there we have it, a rough little outlay of what the RP will be about, and some of what I don't want to see the players characters doing or acting like without reason. Now, please comment and post any questions, suggestions, and concerns you may have.
