You can buy infinite stimpaks from the vampire's gun dealer apparently.

Every time you have Hailey, of the famous Hailey's Hardware, repair your stuff, his repair skill goes up by 5 points each. Leave his shop and come back. Eventually his repair skill will be 100, but be warned! :spotted owl: You can tip over 100 in repair and go negative, that's what I've heard. The highest I ever got him was about 94. Good for repairing one-offs, like the Gauss, Plunkett's, Winterized armor, Tesla cannon (extremely rare finding one of these on regular patrols), etc.

It would almost be like a...flamer?

Lol, I don't know any good glitches, or exploits that I could help you with. But I do enjoy a good super mutant helicopter.

I don't know the scrap metal one or about the stim packs, but I have heard of Haleys on the forums before & discovered the Bethdesa Ruins boss glitch by myself in an early playthrough. I did participate in a discussion about unarmed characters a long time ago, which basically explained you could get a characters unarmed skill above 100. Had something to do with getting it to 100 first then read skill books and get bobble head after its at 100. I've not tried it so I don't know if it works or still works though?

Yes. Also:

There's something about pickpocketing scrap metal from Outcast Casdin, but you'd have to look the forums for this, I've never tried.
There's a respawning Big Guns Book inside the Bethesda Ruins.
There's a respawning Science Book inside Shalebridge.
If you are in the Rivet City Market, you can steal all the weapons on the table at Flak's shop right in front of him, not to mention all the clothing at Bannigan's, and all the chems at that girl's. (I couldn't make it work with that guy with the motorcycle helmet. He freaks out instantly.) You pick them up, but don't "take" them, and carry them all over one by one behind a sandbag emplacement near the door to the Midship deck. Once you've brought them all over there, SAVE YOUR GAME, crouch, wait to be hidden, or pop a Stealthboy, and steal them all. You make a hard save, because sometimes everyone freaks out and puts the beat down on you, but usually you can just walk out of there.

I did most of these in the beginning of playing, but now I don't. I don't know about the Unarmed deal, but just on normally playing, if you are an Unarmed Master, you are a god anyway by level 20...

For ants-in-yer-pants:
From what I recall of the scrap metal glitch as I haven't done it in ages:

-You trade an even number of scrap metal to Protector Casdin. It has to be an even number. I used 22 pieces.
-Pickpocket the 22 pieces of scrap metal back from him. Make sure he does not catch you. Save first because he can be tough to pickpocket.
-Trade all but 2 pieces of scrap metal back to him (20 pieces in this case).
-Pickpocket him again by stealing something expensive like a laser or plasma rifle from him and make sure he DOES catch you this time.
-When he catches you, he'll take back both stacks of scrap metal leaving you with 20 invisible pieces of scrap metal. It doesn't weigh anything and you won't see it in your inventory, but you can trade it to Walter, Winthrop, and even back to Casdin as many times as you want, gaining an infinite amount of xp and supplies.

The only catch is you can never pick up another piece of scrap metal again. If you do, it breaks the glitch and you'll have to trade/pickpocket Casdin again to restart it.

i did this one on my old playthrough.. but like with 80 scrap metals xD it took forever. i just wish there was a way to get unlimited caps and not raise the xp level.. i like leveling up normally

I discovered this glitch yesterday. If you are wearing Chinese Stealth Armor you can wear both the Shady Hat and Lincoln's hat. I still have to see if it works with any hats. You have to be wearing the CSA to do it, but you can then change into anything else. However, if you take one of the hats off you cannot put it back on unless you put the CSA back on. I'm thinking about running around with them and the Ranger armor. Whichever hat you put on last is the one you see, but sometimes it looked like a top hat with a fedora brim.

you can usually use any hat (and the perks they add(not called perks..whatever)but occasionally it wont work, not sure why.) but the CSA only counts as a lower body suit... lol did i just use perenthesis inside perenthesis? :goodjob:

In Tenpenny Tower if you open the containment door and let the ferals in, the tower gets all dark and messed up during the attack. When it does that all skill books are reset. So you can take them, let in the Ferals and get them again. Discovered that by accident today, though I then went back to an earlier save as I was trying to let the ghouls in and keep the original residents alive. Looks like I managed that.

No I didn't, Roy killed them. Oh the delimma. I've played a few hours since that save before getting them in. Do I go back and lose all that? If I could only kill Roy and not Michael. Why do you lose karma for killing Roy after he murders all those people? Mainly I'm annoyed about Dashwood, the Chengs, Margaret Primrose, and the Doctor. He shouldn't have killed them. It is good that a game can annoy me like this. Dastardly Roy Slade will kill him and all those other ghouls, but only after he can get all he can out of the human Tenpenny residents. He'll be the only one living in Slade Tower.

I found out today that you can wear three hats while wearing the CSA. My character was running around for a little while with Button Gwinnet's wig, the Shady Hat, and Lincoln't Hat. I can understand wearing the wig under a hat.

Yeah I think I had 6 different hats on with the CSA when I first figured out what it was doing. Which one shows up and which one(s) count towards damage rating seems kind of random and not based on equip order. It may be based on the largest hat model... I played with it for a while and enjoyed the extra 5 perception from 5 different hats, but I've gone back to wearing just one... felt too cheaty, as if the CSA armor isn't already...
