Casual or hardcoe?

In my personal thought. I think that they will make it more casual. But I'd rather it cater more to the hardcoe gamer such as Morrowind, Arena, Daggerfall and Redguard did.

I play Morrowind more casual than I play Oblivion, and one can be a casual gamer at one genre, and a hardcoe gamer at another.

I have no way of voting.

Too limited, as I play both games with gusto.

I'd vote for "both" if there was that option - I play like Daydark, and I think that Beth will do their best to appeal to both types of gamers - streamlined in some ways (which I don't see as necessarily a bad thing), but with a deeper story and more lore for the more hardcoe (and if I were a betting gal, I'd put my money on some sort of hardcoe mode, but that's just speculation on my part).

...you have no idea how long I just spent trying to spell necessarily without getting the red squiggly line.

Your poll questions don't make any sense to me. Why is Oblivion "casual" and Morrowind "hardcoe"?

Do you mean hardcoe as in more difficult combat or are you talking about immersive survival-type mods as in hardcoe mode for Fallout New Vegas? In either case, both Oblivion and Morrowind can be modded to be more or less of what you are calling "hardcoe."

I would say Casual/Oblivion on the first question, but as enjoy both the casual and a more hardcoe way to play I cannot vote.

I can safely say that anyone who had the time to sink into Oblivion couldn't possibly be described as a "casual" gamer.

Unless you're using an extremely unorthodox definition of that term, I guess.

Well, casual and hardcoe are debatable terms, but I see what you mean.

To put it simply : the game doesn't deliver everything on a plate like Oblivion, a fringe of players might plain give up the game ; on the other hand, if the game doesn't make it challenging enough for the other kind of player, they will stay and add mods.

... What's more likely, in your opinion ?

I feel that this poll is a bit too biased to remain open and will only fuel the fires concerning a casual vs. hardcoe debate.
