Great House Dagoth mod problem

Post » Sat Oct 23, 2010 10:10 pm

In the Great House Dagoth mod by madgod I have played up to the part where dagoth ur tells me to convince the ashlander tribes that he is the good guy and junk, so i went to the urshilaku and talked to sul-matuul about mr.ur and all he had to say was that he knows when your sleeping and awake, submit before your true lord yada yada etc... and itd not only him... everyone says the exact same thing when i ask them about dagoth ur, even the ordinators and any old commoner up to caius cossades! needless to say this is kind of game breaking for me, and i was wondering if anyone had encounted this problem before and found a way around it? any help would be greatly appreciated. i am not running any other sixth house mods besided great house dagoth.

The really isn't any additional dialog regarding talking to them about Dagoth Ur after he tells you to convince everyone that the Empire and the Tribunal are the enemy, NOT him (and I have examined this mod thoroughly in the CS. Yes it's disappointing). You just go through the normal procedure to become Hortator and Nerevarine. After each House names you Hortator/Nerevarine, their dialog regarding Dagoth Ur will change.

After you are named Hortator and Nerevarine with each House/Tribe, they will say this:

For generations we have been taught that Dagoth Ur is the enemy. Now our leaders say that Dagoth Ur is to be our ally against the Tribunal and the Empire. I'm not sure about this myself, but I have faith in the judgements of our leaders.

They will then act like you have already told them everything about the Tribunal stealing the Heart's power. One Redoran councilor will end up saying something like, "I expect deception, but not from my gods."

Thank you. That's flattering. A few other people have written to me and said the story changed how they viewed the Morrowind main quest. Of course much of the credit also needs to go to MadGod who made the mod that The Archer's Tale is built on.
