Timmy told Sally his unreasonable feelings towards you. He bad mouthed you to a friend of his that he probably didn't know you knew.

Sally told you about Timmy's bad mouthing you, but tried to keep his name a secret, so he wouldn't find out she told you.

And Sally thinks YOU have the big mouth? Give me a break. If her big mouth kept Timmy's feelings secret, like Timmy originally intended, none of this would have happened. But instead, not only did she tell you, but she managed to make YOU fell bad because SHE couldn't keep a secret. This secret, had she kept it, would not have hurt her, and she had no desire to know who said it because she knew who said it already. But this directly affected you and you had every right to know who said it, but she wouldn't tell you in order to save her ass.

Simply put, the only reason she's mad at you is because now she'll get in trouble with Timmy for telling you the secret. She's mad at you because, in her little world, it's YOUR fault she has such a big mouth.

Stop apologizing, Nextmastermind, because this is so far from being your fault it's pathetic. YOU should be pissed at HER for being so damn stupid and manipulative.

Dear lord, you hit it on the head:
The way she sees it, because NMM started asking around, then it told Timmy that Sally had told you about him taking offense. He's most likely now angry at her, and she blames you for HER fault, because she's most likely too shallow to connect the dots ("I was being a friend for telling him!" "He wasn't being a friend by asking around, because that tells Timmy that I told his secret to NMM!").

Hot damn, and I was hard pressed to think of a real life example of Double Think. This one shines as a golden example of Double Think.

Maybe Timmy isn't gay at all. Maybe he actually hates gay people and didn't appreciate you making fun of people like him (aka spotted-owl holes).

...See, now, I was going to point out how Sally's one hell of a poisonous friend (and none of this was your fault), but it's already been done for me.

I'm late to the party too. We're fashionably late which makes us automatically cool. B)

Hmm, I think we uncorked a few bottles of high school agnst whine, and there were some snacks
Spoiler
Dude, if you feel sad about the kid getting outed (is that the word? I think it is) you should realize he pretty much outed himself, and Sally was even stupider than he was.

"Gee, I bet if I tell NMM about the kid who feels he ought to be wiped out of society, NMM will simply not care! Also, I keep forgetting how to breathe. I should probably figure that out before I start talking to NMM. *GAAASP*"

Also, her logic after the incident is even worse.

"How dare NMM talk about a kid who wants him out of society! It's all his fault, because I specifically told him about this! He should be ashamed! Also, I forgot to breathe again."

Timmy ain't exactly the brightest bulb in the shed, either.

"I bet if I tell people that NMM ought to be wiped out from society, nobody will ever question me as to why I think that! Everything I say has zero consequences! Yaaaaay!"

but so far I can't seem to find the cheese.

Oh wait, I just pulled it out of...
..the fridge.

So somebody is pissed at you for a song that you did not write and to my knowledge is poking fun at the situation. He basically said he wanted you dead so i think you have every right too know.If he actually is gay its not really your fault, can't be in the closet for ever.
