Gore and how much. Also skills and what is cut and what isn'

Dear people and Bethesda. Oblivion was a great game, but in one aspect it lacked was realistic gore. When you hit someone with a eighty pound war hammer or hit them with a short sword they may spew blood, but i would like to see harm to their bodies, or even armor. I know i'm being picky but that doesn't mean i want fallout extreme about of gore, whereas i can beat someone in the head and in only seconds their piles of meat. Onto the second topic SKILLS. I liked the skills in Oblivion not to say i didn't have complaints, Morrowind had a lot of skills. I do see the purpose of shuffling things around to make it easier. But in your upcoming EPIC game i would like to know your and peoples opinion on what skills are you going to cut, which ones your going to adsorb into another skill name. And if blunt, blade, will still be the same considering you might add spears hopefully again. But regardless of my complaints i have complete faith in your company to make a successful game.

What I can tell you is that Mysticism is out, and there are 18 skills now. Nothing is known about gore, though judging by some screenshots on the GI issue, the game seems more gritty and gruesome than any TES before, so dismemberment and decapitations are very likely.

There is also likely a smithing skill, which will encompass armorer as well as making your own armor and weapons from raw ore.

combat damage to armor & weapons would be awesome.
also, it would be cool if finishing moves cut off body parts.

It would be great to craft your own weapons, it would be even better to choose their style of design.

I doubt this will happen, the GI Tour on Bethesda Studios video showed a board, and there were some sketches about how crafting would work. Apparently, it works just like Fallout 3, where you find a recipe, get the items necessary to make this unique item in the recipe, and bam, it's done.

Yeah I know it, I seen the video just think its an interesting idea at least I am sure we will be able to name them like we did our enchanted weapons from Morrowind and Oblivion. :liplick:
