Your motherboard??? That wouldn't be the issue....the processor and/or video card overheating would be. If you're not getting random shutdowns or blue-screens while playing the game, most likely you are fine. I don't think you have very much to worry about in terms of the motherboard being an issue.
I kinda figured that was true, but considering I've had random things die on computers for the past five years (I swear, I think I'm cursed or something), I guess I'm just paranoid and wanted to know my motherboard's heat tolerance.
Whenever I play Oblivion for example, after stretches of heavy play, it usually is somewhere in the upper forties-fifties Celsius wise as far as temperature goes.
I just wanted to know the heat tolerance admittedly out of paronoia, but since I have an HP Slimline nice built for gaming that nonetheless seems to run most games somewhat decently, I just wanted to make sure I had nothing to worry about.
