I just bought Elder Scrolls GOTY yesterday, tried to load it onto 2 different laptops, keep getting the same, "please insert original disc rather than backup error (1000).

These are original discs! I sent the anolysis log to Securecom as outlined. Nothing. I sent an Email to Bethesda , nothing. It is easier for people to use pirated copies than it is to use valid, licensed versions.

Is there anything a non technical person can do to fix this? I have read the forums,and have come across one thread that addresses this, but it is pretty generic,no conclusive answer.
