will go up to a bed and press T and get 'Wait' instead of 'Rest'. I dont remember having this issue in vista odd enough, i wouldnt mind but you need to rest to do your lvl ups.

Unlike Morrowind, in Oblivion you only wait when you press 'T' but aim your cursor or player at the bed and press your spacebar or any other button set to 'activate'

As said above, you need to activate a bed in order to rest.

It was the same way in Morrowind (the only legal way to rest in a town was to find and activate a bed), the only difference was you could "rough it" out in the wilderness when you pressed the "Wait" key. If you were in a town, though, this was disallowed. Oblivion simply made it so that you could only rest in a bed, "Wait" now only functions as a way to make time pass quicker.

this is most likely not the right place to ask this but, when I install bloodmoon or tribunal ( cant remember which ) for TES III the game fails to load :( its no big deal either way, but the girlfriend has only played IV and i would like to get all of III working that she can play threw it. and there is still a large part of me that still loves the Morrowind world.

Have to install Morrowind in a Specific order. Morrowind - Tribunal - Bloodmoon. If you did it in the wrong order, just try reinstalling bloodmoon.
