I came across a game for the PS2 called Fallout : The Brotherhood of Steel, as I'm a console gamer I was wondering if it was worth picking up, is it any good?

I haven't played the game myself, but it is told that it's anything but a good Fallout game. As a game it might be worth a shot, doesn't seem that awful.

Thanx dude! I was just checking out sum reviews and footage of the game, overall seemed to get an above average but no brilliant reviews 6-7 outta ten, but its all we console gamers have to work with in the series (FO3 obiviously). Pity really. Thanx again.

Is it all action, is there any RPG elements in the game?????

I own it but have no desire to ever play it.
I hear it's utterly terrible.

Yes I have come across sum people sayin that, but it does look more like the other Fallouts in game style at least, anyone know if theres an RPG element to it or is it all shooting. I may give it a go I've seen it cheap enuff on the web.

How much would you sell it for then??? Were not to far apart.

Erm, it doesn't look like the other Fallout games at all..

I'm not selling my copy. I don't want it for what it is, but because it completes my collection. I think I paid about ?2 for it ages ago. I've never put it in a console and it'll stay that way for the foreseeable future.
Just check http://video-games.shop.ebay.co.uk/Games-/139973/i.html?_nkw=fallout+brotherhood&_catref=1&_fln=1&_sc=1&_sop=15&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 or something.

It's a dungeon crawling, action RPG. Similar in style to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance or X-men Legends. Although it's a little bit more difficult. It's not completely unplayable, but it's not a very rewarding experience either. Checking out the unique perk and equipment systems ended up being way more interesting than actually playing the game, which was more like a chore. I got bored and gave up on it before I ever left the first town.

I owned it. I played through the whole thing to unlock the secret characters, played through halfway as one of the unlocked characters, then could not take any more.

Don't do it. Seriously. This game is so chock-full of infantile humor and relentless dungeon-crawling as to be psychologically damaging. It is a Fallout game in name only, and on its own merits it cannot be enjoyed as anything more than a waste of time.

EDIT: I had a much longer tirade for this, but decided it wasn't worth it. Also, did you know the term for a group of boys who are fans is censored? Weird...

Dude--no. Just----------don't. Pretend you never saw that. Better yet, just plain forget you ever saw that. Trust me.

Never played it.

Saw a Youtube link to one of it's commercials.

That ended any thought of me playing it.

It's generally regarded by the fan community as the worst Fallout Game ever made; it has a few fans, but...
