There is no adequate measure of value that can be put on the things Lord Devil did for this community. Years ago when I first played Morrowind I found the Summit and I sent an email to Lord Devil thanking her (him I thought at the time) for this wonderful website. Her reply was most kind, wishing me years of gameplay to come. Little did I know that I spoke to a legend. Rest in peace.

Heh, she was the first person I've ever spoken to online when I first got internet (i thought she was a he at that time). She was one of the most kind, dedicated, admirable persons I've ever spoken to... as I was a total new player at that time, I thought all moderators were like her, only after that I learned that she was such a rare breed in today's world. I remember how she thanked me for reporting a flame at Morrowind Summit, made me feel important, even though she was the one who had patience with me and I was just a newbie (and an annoying one at that). Only the best type of persons accomplish that. Aside from her experience, wisdom and ambition, she also had a great heart, something that will never be forgotten.

I present my condolences, and I hope she is in a better place now...

this is awful.
i haven't posted here in quite awhile, and just got back into morrowind to hear this, but i remember quatloos and lord devil (though i never knew they were one in the same).

i never got to talk to LD personally, but as a moderator she was fair and justified in her actions, and was just as wonderful as a modder/reviewer. her reviews led me to download a lot of mods i wouldn't otherwise have considered, and prevented me from downloading others.
all in all, she seemed like such a good person. it's so sad to see her go. D:

My first brush with morrowind mods
quickly intoduced me to Lord Devil...
well...at least her work

this may sound silly but something in
her style always made the site feel safe
....she really was an angel...despite her moniker

I had no idea until I came across one of her mods
that she was gone (as Quatloos)

The world just got a bit dimmer
(first grumpy... now lord devil....I sort of
really feel bereft...though I only knew them
through their very generous spirits....)
