ImmortalBlood Timeline FAQ

I just want to have a basic FAQ concerning the timeline. It won't be extensive from the OP but I want to give people a chance to ask questions concerning the Timeline along with active RPs.

Q: Where does the name come from?

A: Well ImmortalBlood is obviously the name I go by here. The inspiration was actually not the Immortal Blood book in Oblivion but has to do with several personal things outside of lore. But yes I do enjoy Vampire lore to an extent. The Immortal Blood Timeline (full title) I think was from Storyteller calling it that for simplicities sake when I started Siege of Sentinel.

Q: How did you get your RP Timeline started?

A: I've been a member of this site for much longer than I care to remember, back before the RPs were done in the Lore forum, some on the MW forum and others yet on the OB forum. And ever since then I saw RPs go up and go down all within the time span of a week or two. People were disorganized, the creator didn't have a focused plot, too little was going on, etc. It was simply frustrating making a character who (if you are passionate about writing) you put your soul into a little bit and then have it waste away. So I decided on simply picking up from the TES time line after the OB crisis and made my own series of plots. I have at least a dozen or so full length RP plots just floating around in my head that could be put down the moment I had some free time. So I figured if could just link these together into my own little world and write in my free time.

Q: What makes the IBTimeline so different from a regular RP?

A: Reliability. Siege of Sentinel for example lasted for around 14 months with most of the same people. Another thing is that the genres generally cover several themes and vary depending on the people. For example in the latest RP the two main theaters are either an Arcane academy setting where we'll be doing more adventure and closer proximity character development, while you could also RP a more political and/or military role concerning the strife between Daggerfall and Wayrest.

Q: It's too complicated, what do I need to know?

A: It's really not all that complicated. Major points you need to know are as follows:

1) Altmer rebelled, won a war and got Valenwood making the Aldmeri Dominion.
2) Sentinel gained its independence and most of the Legions are withdrawn to Morrowind and Cyrodiil.
3) Aldmeri Dominion is invading Elseweyr and tried High Rock but did not have resources so instead they support Daggerfall and its allies to fight Elysana of Wayrest.

Really that's pretty much it.

Q: Can I just join in any time?

A: Yea you really can. PM me or post a comment on the discussion thread concerning your interest and I can get you in easily. The RP is a calm pace and can pick up depending on how much you want to write.

===========================

That's the basic things that come off the top of my head. I was told many people had questions from some of my other members and the moderators were nice enough to allow me to open up a FAQ and you guys can ask questions and i'll give answers. Only rule is that you stick to the topic.

I would also like to add on top of IB telling about complication.

A lot of you don't join because you say the RP has gone to far in. You can jump in at any time, and actually, now is a great time to join, because of the re-vamp fact.
