Since I've never patched a game on ps3 before, I want to know the following..
My ps3 is currently getting online with a wireless connection and should be online at all time when it's running...

So for my question... Will the Fallout: New Vegas game patch automaticly when I start the game, or do I have to do it myself?

When the patch comes out and you start New Vegas you will be prompted to download it. Yes, You need to be connected to the internet the whole time it is downloading.

I think you have to be signed in as well. I could be wrong though, but I noticed you only get system updates when you sign in, not when you turn your system on.
