Lagging jumps

Post » Sat Nov 13, 2010 7:05 am

Hello all, I have noticed that while playing FONV that when I am out about in the wastelands that it can jump or lag if you will every 30secs or so, it is nothing much just stutters for like 1-2secs before working again. Granted this was after 6hrs of play but it is something that worries me, has any one else had this, is it work roundable some how, or is this part of a bigger problem that will only get worse as the game goes on. I am all to familiar with FO3 crashes and glitches and hope New Vegas is not heading down the same road.

Glitch- and bug-wise this game is far more worse then FO3.

oh whoopy skip, thought they might have worked out bugs since fo3 was riddled with them, well after playing again this morning I noticed the glitchy jumping is down to non existent must only occur after hours of gaming

You may notice after your file size is in excess of 10 mb you will have more frequent crashes/glitches. a little bit of lagging is normal, it's just trying to load terrains and scripts etc. when you walk into different areas . there isn't really a way to avoid this, as you can't play the game if it isn't loading things.

well only had the game for a day so hope it isnt in excess of 10mb already :S if it is just loading I can cope with it, just thought it a little odd that it was happening every 30sec or so. But after playing a bit more I notice this only happens noticeably when been playing for some time.

Thanks for the help
