He was called Calvin in Fallout 1, after Calvin in Calvin and Hobbes.

Then, in Fallout 2, he's Calvin Jnr.

In Fallout 3, he's Ansel Bishop, result of "interaction" between the Chosen one and Angela Bishop.

He'll probably still be a Bishop in Fallout NV.

Apples.

Cutesy, comes-from-a-vault innocent sorta girls name.

It's just her nickname of course. Her real name is probably Penelope or Persephony or some old skool 1950's name like that.

I'm very bad at coming up with names. But I've got Melissa stuck in my head. It's the name of my Fallout 2, 3, Oblivion, Morrowind and Dragon age character and probably my New Vegas one too. :P

In Fallout3 her name is Emma.

I loved the contrast of the Wasteland environment and such a sweet name.

Not sure what I'll do for FNV.

First character was named Bob

That's what I named my first Morrowind character, lol. :)

Anyway, to answer the original topic:
  • Ishtar - my first, testing & learning, character for Fallout 3
  • Nereza - named after my Oblivion character, who was named after my Dungeon Siege character, who was named after my Guild Wars necromancer. :) So I like this name.
  • Ilsa - my one evil character
  • http://i41.tinypic.com/2wcl53m.jpg - named after my Oblivion character, who was named after ... etc.

laminae Scipio (Laminae is the second declension conjugation of blade in Latin, not blade as in sword, but blade as in blade of grass or fine edge, and Scipio after Scipio Africanus a Roman general)

Giliant Cantrell (waaaaaay too long to go into the etymology)

I use the first for female characters and the second for male. Typically games usually just use the first name though.
