Real Life Ruins

Here is a site with some photos of ruins from real places. Hashima, also called Gunkanjima 'battleship island' - an island close to Nagasaki, the walled city of Kowloon, and San Zhi a place in northern Taiwan that was planned to be a resort 'city of the future' built in the 1980s but never took off.

They're quite breathtaking, and the similarities to the buildings in Fallout 3 are notable. Hashima in particular could provide a good idea for future Fallout games as the idea of an island completely built up and industrialised so that it looks like a battleship and then having people abandon it and leave it to ruin could result in an amazing visual and exploratory experience.

Wow, that's pretty cool, I know the nuke was a terrible thing, but the pictures were pretty interesting. RIP all the innocent lives lost by the two nukes at WW2.
