Salache

The book, "Wild Elves" mentions Salache, Boiche, and I think, Morche, as the three Elven races to have assimilated into the Empire. These are, the High, the Wood, and the Dark Elves, perhaps? I wonder, are these three words part of the Ayleidic language? Because Dunmer call themselves exactly that. Also, is there any connection between Salache and Imperatum Saliache, or is it just coincidence?

Edit: If there is a connection between Salache and Saliache, what difference does the "i" make in its meaning?

Wild Elves is a Daggerfall-era book before the elves were called mer. Read the Morrowind version. It mentions the mer names.

Salache = high elf.
Imperatum saliache = empire of the high elves. The Adabal-A refers to Cyrodiil as the base of Ayleid might where they rule over several human slave tribes.

No.
