PS3 Update: Where are the patch notes?

Post » Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:33 pm

I have just downloaded the new update for Fallout: New Vegas on my play station 3 and i was wondering, what does it do? Does it fix the modding of specialized weapons like the weathered 10mm, or does it help the game to stop freezing so frequently?

Yeah they said they would post patch notes when the update was released. Where are they? I'm very curious because I'm a 360 user and I won't get the update until next week but I want to know what is fixed by the update.

Hasn't helped the companion glitches, so my game is still shafted.

Release notes would help a lot, so we could at least see what's /supposed/ to be fixed.

So the update is released for PS3 and you said there would be patch notes when it was released. I can't find them. From what I've read PS3 players are very confused because they don't know what is fixed and what isn't. They're just kind of going on trial and error. What was fixed???

The size of the patch is more a reflection on how GOOD the patching system is then on how large the patch is. Huge patches exist because of lousy patch systems rather then how much stuff was actualy changed in a patch.

i assume that this patch contains the fixes included in the first patch cause you only need to download the latest patch . so how can it be 20 MB ?

One thing I can say about the patch is that adds DT reduction to energy ammo in a rank of: Base- -2DT, OC -5DT, MC -10 DT at the cost of a reduced multiplier, but now it should be possible to play an Energy Weapon character.
