Reilly's Rangers Voice

Post » Tue Nov 16, 2010 5:52 am

I was doing the quest Riley's Rangers today, and by the time I reached the Compound, a voice rang through the wasteland. I had never heard the voice before, so I'm going to ask you: Do you know what it is?

The voice (male, BTW) spoke of that "your mother and my mother" would hang clothes on some tree in 1492, trees to the north-west, and something about a sun that no one would ever see.

If you could give me a link to a page about this on the Wiki (if such a page exists), it would be great.

Thanks in advance!

I just Googled him, and it turned out to be correct! Thanks for clearing this up.

Yes, bazz is correct. There is an alley near you. There is a crazy guy talking into a mic or megaphone there. I recommend that you save more than usual during this time period, as you explore that area.

On one side is some poor sap that's trapped. Nearby you can get a good vantage point. One lazor shot later and you're free to salvage 5 mini-nukes. :)

Just make sure you kill him quickly and cleanly, or he will detonate the nukes, and you'll be air pollution.

BTW, he has nothing to do with Reilly or the Rangers, he's just in the same area as their compound.

"And the sun will rise in the north! No, the northwest! For forty four days and sixty seven nights! And we'll never notice!"

"Try new Blammo, soap! Blasts stains out. Blasts the whole world out. We've all been BLAMMO'D!"

I was gonna use him as a sig, but I never got around to it.

Am I the only one who thinks those mini-nukes he's guarding are a pain in the butt to find?
