I finally found a copy at a reasonable price from a reputable seller so I had to order it. So while I wait for it to ship out is there anything that would be helpful to read up on or anything in specific I need to know?

Save ALOT. One of my characters was forever lost because one of my saves was right before two liches attacked me from behind. Also, get Mark and Recall spells whenever you can. You'll thank me later.

Sounds like you should have saved *less* frequently, BebopMagnum.

Save regularly in 2-3 different slots, keeping in mind that quests could crash, or bugs could emerge.

I always had a separate save slot for when I was on quests, in case something went horribly wrong.. saved me quite a few times.

Tips:

1. Keep multiple saves. I generally keep one right before accepting a question, right before entering a dungeon, and one which I just save to periodically.

2. Falling into the void: don't panic, don't get frustrated. It will happen, fairly often. If it starts happening, hit alt-F11 quickly to return to where you were before you fell. Note: No cheat mode need be active. Alt-F11 always works. (Alternately, instead of hitting alt-f11 quickly, you can allow your character to fall into the void for a really long time, allowing the potential falling damage to accumulate to the point where it flips to negative, and THEN hit Alt-F11, giving your character a hit point boost rather than taking damage.)

Otherwise, it's pretty much in the manual.
