I think I just fell into the Void for the first time. I just got Daggerfall to work again and I was in Privateer's Hold. I was going up the throne and I walked forward into the wall and fell through to an empty black space. I could still see a hallway or two, though.

Anyway it was weird and I'm glad I got Daggerfall to work again.

People say that the void issue happens all the time, but I myself never really encounter it all that much.

It often happens if you're jumping into the wrong thing at the wrong time. Like jumping into a table or some other complex geometry and getting stuck between the planes.

I believe my first encounter with the void was also due to a faulty Privateer's Hold throne. That throne is quite a piece of work, isn't it?
