Repairing the Orrery: No artifact at Dagny's Camp ?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:52 am

Hey guys,

After a long break form Oblivion i decided to pick it up again (got the Deluxe edition for a bargain on Steam).
Now im working my way through the new quests, but im kinda left stuck whilst doing "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Repairing_the_Orrery".

I've been to all camps and collected all artifacts so far, but am now stuck at Dagny's Camp unable to find the last artifact.

The UESP Wiki talks about a male Nord carrying the last artifact, but when i hit the camp all i came across was a Female Redguard and a Bandit Sorcerer.
Any tips would be appreciated! :)

Well, if i look on the map i see a quest marker just outside the camp but i've circled that as well as the entire camp for about 15 times now.
There is no one else to be found.

And the carrier is supposed to be the male Nord i talked about not a female char you seem to be talking about.
Or was it a female NPC when you did it perhaps?

The Nord wanders a bit far from his base and might have run into something (or a few somethings) that he couldn't handle. Try turning off the grass and see if there's a body laying out there somewhere.

I've run into this problem before, if there are any roads nearby be sure to check those. Bandits decide to try to be idiots and attack guards... It doesn't end well for them... I've actually seen this in action before.

Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for the tips.
Turning off the grass made it 100% easier to track the NPC (or at least his body).
Poor bastard ran into a minotaur, lol. :)
