Movement

As part of my ongoing search for Morrowind bliss, I've monkeyed around with movement a bit.

I know there is at least one mod that changes movement, and at one point, I copied the changes it made, only to find they made the game unpleasant.

I'd like to see Morrowind more like Oblivion in terms of PLAYER movement. That is, get rid of the ridiculous slow-motion you have to suffer at the beginning of the game in favor of something more natural. I THINK this can be done by changing fMinWalkSpeed. I think the maximum walking speed is good enough and doesn't need to be increased.

I'm wondering: What a good value for this GMST would be that would make it most like the starting speed in Oblivion?

Years ago, I had tweaked the speed of many creatures, because they were also moving in slow motion. Changing fMinWalkSpeedCreature is a universal change with undesirable consequences (genuinely slow creatures start moving fast, jacking up their animations).

Have many of you changed the movement speed of individual creatures, so they didn't look like they were running in slow motion?

I've also changed the speed of projectiles, because they were ridiculously slow and easy to dodge. I may make magic spell projectiles even faster still. Anyone else doing this?

"Nymeria's Faster Walk.esp" from NOM uses:

fMinWalkSpeed = 10.00
fMaxWalkSpeed = 220.00

Is that the mod you are referring to that you didn't like?

I have always been content with the defaults when concerning these, though I wish you luck in your search for good values.
