Well, right before Fallout 3 was launched I was on these forums. All I did was trash Black Isle and praise Bethesda because I liked the Oblivion style gameplay/graphics. Quite a bit has changed since then, I played the earlier Fallout games and I gotta say.. I really liked Fallout 3 and all.. but I wish it was like Black Isle Fallout 3 I saw a screenshot of awhile back. Fallout 2 is like one of my favorite games, another Fallout game like that would be fantastic.

I heard New Vegas was being developed by people who were on the Black Isle team? I really hope thats true, even though it probably wont be the old style I'm positive it will be an amazing game.. I just feel like they can give us the story and the content that we all want. Bethesda did a good job, but I think Obsidian will do a better job. I get a little irritated because all I hear is people bashing the heck out of New Vegas when theres only been one trailer, and praising F3 as the be all end all.

I have to apologize too. I trashed FO3 by gamesas and praised the old series more then I wanted too. I'm still a little pissed because gamesas did such a horrible job on the ps3.

Other than that, FO3 is a cool game. But IMO if they had combined the FO3 gameplay with parts of the old series RPG-style, I bet FO3 would have been a MASTERPIECE beyond imagination.

And indeed Chris Avellone, creative director at Obsidian Entertainment was a former Blackisle guy. In New Vegas they'll put more emphasis on interaction with the factions and RPG-style, from what I've heard. So I'm waiting for New Vegas to come out. It sounds like they are doing an okay job at Obsidian. Lets hope so!

I will defenitly buy it for my pc first and do a bit more research before I purchase this game for my ps3. That's for sure!

'brain storming' sessions...
