I was checking my Oblivion mods folder and I noticed that I still have Duke Patrick's mods (SCA Combat Archery, and SCA Combat with no Recoil, mostly - I couldn't find Basic Combat Geometry) and I remembered that I never gave them a try.

I know that Combat Archery is still available (although the version on TESNexus is outdated; it seems to me that the most recent version is the one that can be downloaded from Arwen's site). The other one (melee combat), though, disappeared from the web. I have a 'Silver' edition (v. 5.1) and I wonder if it is the most recent one or if there were others after it.

Is it too buggy?

There's a brand new version of Combat Archery out. The active topic is just a couple of pages in here.

I don't know the "Silver" version you mention. The most recent melee combat I know of is 4.5, but most of his mods are unavailable now.

The ones that are available are listed on TESNexus and easily searchable under his Member listing.

I searched for his available mods on TESNexus. If the most recent version of melee combat (that you know of) is 4.5, then I'm okay.

Thanks for the tip on Combat Archery, I'll dig out the thread and see if it is newer than the version I downloaded from Arwen's site.

The ones on Arwens site are a bit behind the times, all the following have been produced since then (I had a similar catch up route to what you have taken, I found the most comprehensive advice via Arwen, then Duke started re-doing his mods, putting them up on TesNexus then taking them down as problems were found, then putting them up again when happy).....

I emailed Arwen early today to give her a heads up about the same thing, no reply yet but may be busy with other things in her life now.

I note you think the ones on tesnexus are outdated - No, those are the most up to date, Combat archery has been re-done and version numbers dont compare with the one you have, I would suggest ditch whatever you have and start afresh, be sure to get the newer versions of supporting required mods too, OBSE for instance - Currently at v0018b6b

The one I am querying at the moment is Magic you can believe in, previously only available on Arwens site, but I believe it may have compatability problems now.

Duke has been concentrating on Hammerblade lately (just updated today), and I think there may have been some recent technicalities with OBSE that has made him go checking his mods again.... Very busy fella lately.
