I hit a glitch on the mission, and came online to see if others have the same problem. I didnt see anyone having my issue, but saw lots of people having seperate issues all diffreent from one another.

I just finished the quest, and succeeded in "cheating a glitch" to beat it.

Here's how I finished the mission, for anyone who migth want to try it out and see if it works this time around.



I got the mission from Novac to go check out the ghoul business.

I met with the religious nut job upstairs, and out of curiosity agreed to help him.

I got downstairs into the basemant to find invisible super mutants, which were pretty much out of my legue. It took me 3 mines to injure ones leg, and then half my ammo to shoot him down.

I have a mod I'm using, wihch reduces everyones health universally, but it makes no difference ot the actualy game play what so ever, jsut the health, it makes combat realistic and this game worth playing.

So, after I had killed one, I decided not to pursue killing more of them, I thought I could find some way to gas them or something. There had to be a better way.
I lockpick a door, and find the ghoul trapped inside the hall. He tells me to go find his friend so he may leave with a clear conscience.
After him, I find the large ghoul weilding a large sword, and talking to it apparently.
He wants to get in the room with the ghoul to get the cloaks.


SO, I make a plan. I go find the dead girlfriend using cloaks to stay hidden, have the ghoul leave the room, and give the cloaks to the super mutant.
The girl is in the cell, the key to the cell block is found in a room pretty much directly above the girl.
She's dead, I go back, the ghoul leaves.
I go up to the computer, and find out the cloaks have been sent away due to perverts.
The mutant isnt happy, but he accepts this and leaves with his buddies.


Now, I went upsairs and the great journey can begin.
I follow the people to the basemant, and here is where the bug apparently started for me.

One of the spacesuit nutjobs remained in the room where the pretender ghoul man was, and she's walking to a wall.
I ignored it and didnt think anything of it.

I go find the stuff he asks me, and bring them back.

I talk to the guy, and give him the stuff, and hes all ready to go.

Then it gets a bit awkward.

The guy behind the glass starts talking, and suddenly stops to congratulate me of being a hero, and then everything stops.
I then saw the woman disappear and appear down in the launch area. Everyone else were gathered infront of the glass looking at me, but this one woman ghoul was wondering around the lauch area, and the quest was stuck.

I tried a few things, and everytime the guy started talking about a different thing behind the glass and the quest was stuck.

SO, I decide to kill the woman :/

Shes was surprisingly tough. I killed her, and went on with the quest.

The launch was apparently succesful, and the pretender ghoul ran off to Novac to restart his miserable life.

I'm still going to try and tell the guy to sabotage the launch, and then I'm going to try and just tell him that he's not going on the flight but that he should be happy jada jada jada, to make sure it works.

But if you do this, and it works, hurraah. If you do this, and it doesnt work, then, well..

Go upstairs. It's not bugged, you just have to follow your quest marker. I thought it was bugged too, but it's not. After he gets done talking just go back upstairs and hit a button and the rockets will fly off.
