FO3:GOTY no longer freezes/crashes

Post » Tue Nov 23, 2010 5:36 am

Hello everyone

I am new to this forum and also to the Fallout Universe.

At first I was hesitant to buy this game because of people experiencing crash/freeze during game play.

I admit, my game froze at birthing process during the game...right at the beginning so naturally I was a bit disappointed. However, within this form I found the fix and the game now plays beautifully.

I just love this game.

My system at a glace...my magnificent laptop....the R780.

As you can see, it is Windows 7, 64bit, with i5Core. Steam forums had much negative comments regarding 7's stability with this game. They had no solution to my problem.

Here at Bethesda, the solution had been posted: the infamous ".ini tweak" posted by a user named "TheWalrus".

This game is beyond great....what's best.....no more freeze!

Thanks.
