Coming Back To Oblivion

Post » Thu Nov 25, 2010 8:11 am

Hey all, I went to the darkside with the release of fallout3, and now am trying to get back into Oblivion. I am wondering what great new things have been released since then. Suggest some mods :-)

Right now I am in the process of getting Fcom up and running. Which is a nightmare considering how long I have been away. But I can hardly imagine starting oblivion without it. I did the obligatory searches on nexus, however I am certain many great mods are not mentioned. Or are normally not my cup of tea so I'd miss out on some nice content. Like normally I never play a thief character, so I might miss out on Thieves arsenal.

So what type of vampire mods do you folks like?
Quest mods?
Artificial life mods? (people moving between cities, inns having some life, folks just acting like they have some purpose)

One of the new favorites is a FCOM OMOD installed, which makes installing FCOM nearly easy and takes less than a couple minutes.

Vampires? I'm looking forward to Unholy Darkness

Quest mods: Integration, Windfall... I think most of my other favorites came out before Fallout 3, just check the 'must haves' link.

Life: Vector, Integration( very immersive quests and the new NPCs have a lot of character)... Uh Kuertee has a mod that makes the random bandits in the world wander around... if that's what you meant by people moving between cities, but anyway... most immersion mods can be found on the http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=1053088&hl=

How long has it been since you last played Oblivion? It's difficult to guess which mods have been released since you last played.
Anyway, here's a couple.

These two are especially great combined.
