Im trying to set three chairs in front of a fire place but its to hard to move them and attempt to make them symmetric. I try to move them and I have to drag my mouse across the screen then it moves an entire block. Is there anyone to move things easier?

I guess you got Snap-to-Grid enabled? Tick it off if you wish to free-move stuff - since snap to grid is more something to make complex pieces to fit perfectly.
if you look at the CS, at the top, you see a row of buttons. it is the.. um.. 7th button I believe? Tick it off. You may also tick of Snap To Angle while you are at it.

Also, you can change how fast you rotate/move around by changing the options.

File - preference - Change whatever you wish to change. Oh, note: there is an auto-save feature. It is quite handy to have an autosave every 5-10 min or so ^^ In case of the renowned crashes. It is under File - Preferences - misc - autosave.

Hope I understood coorectly?

Cheers,

You really should read over some of the http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page articles. Honestly, while people here are perfectly happy to answer your questions, likely just about all of the answers you're looking for are going to be there.
