Afther many attempts, I could progress for some time in one of my games. I did the quest "Those" (except for the part of searching a home for the kid), I cleared the supermarket concerning the survival guide, Springvaley School and the bridge near the Vault. I had a raid in the County Sewers Mainline and killed all in the Talon Company Camp near there. I have also explored many zones around Megaton.

I need around 35 px to reach level 8 and Im trying to open a way to the right side of the map. I allways sneak when exploring and I use a sniper rifle for scout the zone. This weapon is my best friend but the 308 bullets are expensive and difficult to find so Im placing the rifle in a container and using other weapons most of the time. When indoors, I move slowly and wait the best moment for shooting (when no more than an enemy in range). I aim to the head when shooting for find critical hits and save ammunition. I run away if I alert many enemies. My first problem have a name: ammunition.

Is a test of patience. In my other failed games, I allways died because I wanted to go faster and then I did a mistake. Surely that will happens again, but to play this way rocks (its almost believable) :rock:

It was mainly started as a kind of FWE for console users, but many of the ideas can be carried over to PC too.

Thank you, I saw it, but I dont want to add more rules or changes before to play more. I didnt play Fallout 3 before and I have directly started with this gameplay. Except for Megaton and some of the places around, all is new for me.

Yesterday could I open my way to the right side of the map and found Rivet City. It was a long day sneaking and sniping between mutants. I saw with the scope some of the horrors that MMM provides and hided from them like a rat. I completed the quest "Those" and Im on level 8 now.

EDIT: I died on level 9. A super mutant fulled my body with bullets :gun: A dramatic scene, indeed. I will check that thread now. ^_^
