He needs to be positioned so you can access his inventory while you're sitting in the VR chair - IOW in your lap. There are numerous You Tube videos out there that show you how to do it.

It's still tricky to do, though. Some people make it easier on themselves by killing all the Outcasts first and then piling all the bodies into the pod with them.

Yea i watched some videos but can never get it to work, killing the outcasts and piling them up sounds like a good idea.

I can do it in the X-box version, just draqe him over the foot-rest so he's right in front of you when you sit in the chair. Cannot ever get it to work in the PS3 version though.
