We don't know how it will effect Bethesda's games (assuming they're still using Gamebryo) but they've been working on their latest game for over two years now so they probably have everything they need. It's possible they only have Gamebryo licensed for a single game and they'd need to acquire a second license if they wanted to use their new engine for a second title but it's also possible they originally acquired a multi-game license or that they picked one up when Emergent started having problems.
Chances are whoever buys Gamebryo intends to make money off of it so they'd be happy to license it out, it would be weird to purchase it and bury it.
