1 final Fallout 3 DLC/Update

Post » Tue Dec 07, 2010 11:58 am

Hey guys!

I have a suggestion for 1 final piece of DLC or update to Fallout 3. I have completed the 'Trouble on the Homefront' quest, and now when i try to access Vault 101, it says i cannot as i dont know the new password, which you all know. What i would like, is to be able to treat 101 the same as Megaton and live there if i choose to. Re-enter the vault, talk to Amata do whatever. Maybe even the odd new quest?

Bethesda has finished with Fallout 3, have been for a while. There will be no new DLC.

And if you pay attention during the TotHF quest, you will understand why you've been locked out again. If you use one of the more 'evil' methods of completing the quest, you can still go in and out I believe.

If you're on PC, there's a mod for it.

I guess as a good-bye Bethesda could do one of two things for Fallout. They have a choice, one giving good karma, one giving bad. (Just like the game itself)

They're not making the game anyway so they're free. Just release one patch that fixes all previous glitches in FO3, so it may rest in peace, once and for all. It will be a Monument To All Their Sins.

Or

They could release one patch to nerf all patches. And make the game how it was the day it released. Back to basics, completely loaded with glitches etc. Eventually the player would get so frustrated that he would just throw FO3 away and buy NV, just for the hell of it. That way Bethesda could make heaps more money from sales.

It's their choice.

It doesn't make sense for them to release a new DLC now that NV is about to be released.

Besides, they're busy making ES V right now, you don't want them to lose their focus, now do you? ;)

ES V is a myth. I'll believe it when it's announced. :P

The Elder Scrolls 5, Oblivion was fourth, Morrowind was third.
