I just started playing FO3 (for PC, of course) and I love it. I was a longtime fan of elder scrolls, so I figured I'd give this a try.

Anyway, the funniest thing happened. At first, I chose the name "Acer," which is a name I was wanting to use for a while, but once I got out of the vault, they suddenly give me the option to change all the stuff I decided. So, on a whim, I change my name to Bill.

Fas forward, and here I am, newly lvl 7, and I choose to fast travel. As soon as I get there these guys tell me there's a price on my head. So, after killing them and raiding their corpses, I find a piece of paper.

That piece of paper said "Orders: Kill Bill!" XD

I must have laughed forever at that. What are the odds?


So are there any crazy things that have happened to you guys in FO3 that you thought were funny?

there is an NPC in megaton called duncan or something
hes the old guy who looks after the plumbing, you can get a mission with him fixing the pipes and delivering some item to him-
anyway i started his quest but after a few encounters he had vanished completely from megaton.
I didn't see him for the majority of the game, and then much later I found him face down dead in the middle of the capital wasteland somewhere.
I have no idea how he could have got there

The strangest thing was actually something that I didn't see. I was travelling to the destroyed houses towards the eastern part of the map (roughly where the Rad Shack is). In between some buildings there is a small Enclave Outpost. A monumental battle must have taken place here - the are two dead Enclave soliders, some Talon Mercs and even, amazingly, a Reaver (I've never seen one outside, especially in the daytime). All of them dead.

That is, except for one - a sole Raider, standing there all alone, wearing Enclave Power Armour. I'd love to know what he had for breakfast.
