A bit of a backstory:
Natalie lived all of her life in a shack. She doesn't remember her childhood, but she remembers her parents going out to scavenge for food while she remained alone. As she grew older, her father started teaching her to gather for for herself, and for her 16th birthday he gave her a 10mm Pistol he stole from some tower nearby. However, Natalie was always fascinated by her dad's Laser Rifle, and she tinkered with it while he turned his back. A few days before her 19th birthday, her parents told her that they would try to get into the nearby tower, as the Wastelands were becoming more dangerous. They couldn't get in because they didn't have any money, but one night her mom sneaked out. When she returned in the morning, she told her family that they can move in. Confused, the family left towards Tenpenny Tower. After seeing a certain businessman from the upper floor flirting with his wife, Natalie's father started snooping around. He found out that his spouse had slept with the men regularly to keep them in the hotel. Enraged, a fight broke out one night. Natalie, who has been close to the father throughout her childhood, couldn't take it any more and shot her mom in the head. Terrified, she escaped and went back to the shack. On the way, she was stung by a Radscorpion and started to fade out. As she entered the shack, she passed away. When she woke up, she had no memory of the past events. The only thing that gave her a clue to where to go is a note in her pocket, pointing to the location of Vault 101.

SPECIAL are high? That's how you start the game, last time I checked...
I'll update the post with a small backdrop, but I don't intend to play by it. I'm going to play or fun, and just add commentary. However, you are free to imagine what you wish :)

No. Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L is high. If my calculations are correct you have forty points. The rest of us mortals get thirty-three point. I'm going to assume it has be inadvertently raised by one of your Mods.

I'm fine with it, but I wish you had put it on very hard difficulty, would've of made if more interesting for me at least. But hey, it's for fun.

I would have played on Very Hard and not have decided to use VATS, but not only do I want to play for fun, I also have Fraps which slows down my PC... Oh, and about the SPECIAL, from the wikia:
This book is the first opportunity the player has for building their character's personality and skills. Each of the attributes is assigned initially five (5) points. There is an additional five (5) points for distributing across the attributes. This gives a total of forty (40) points (5*7=35 points + 5 points=40 points) that can be distributed into the attributes. The maximum number of points allotted to an attribute is ten (10) points, while the minimum is one (1).

those skills still look high, but i guess I'm wrong (or maybe its just that i play vanilla). I only got 10 points. But you did make intelligence etc. low. Thanks for the backdrop.

I have a question, how does Fraps work with you? I've seen that quality turns out to be horrible, and I've looked on the website to see that it costs money. And what about sound? The program I use doesn't turn out any sound in my videos.
