Weird Glitches

So, I have a couple of weird glitches in my game. Background: I've brought at least 10 characters to level 30, shameful I know.

At level 30, super mutants (the normal ones) now have the body form and hit points of Overlords. Their names appear as "Super Mutant" but battles with these guys are a lot tougher. The only thing that saves me is the fact that they are only using hunting rifles or nailboards. While I appreciate the harder combat, frankly things are a lot more fun and explosive now, I've never seen this before. Anyone else on 360 have this happen?

Spawns for enemies are freaky weird. Constantly respawning at Bethesda Ruins are: the usual crowd. Plus: One Deathclaw, two Glowing Ones, two Ghoul Roamers, one Reaver and a three man Enclave Patrol, with pet Eyebot. Sometimes I make a hard save, and see how fast I will die when I fast-travel there.

Outside of Megaton: Two ants, two deathclaws, every time I walk out the front gate.

Some of the residents of the Dunwich building now greet me in the parking lot, rather than inside.

That one Overlord near Rivet City has moved down the road from his perch. If you are traveling south from Rivet City, it is absolutely required to take him down every time, as he now can fire on the caravans.

I'm not complaining I guess, just curious wth is going on.

EDIT: It's just this one play through. It's never happened before.

On my first and 'main' character, I've played him since day one of release, up well over 1200+ hours. After the formal 'end' to the main mission/quest, I noticed that things certainly changed in the game environment, the main one being that the spawning and general enemies got a lot tougher, and a lot more of them.

Basically, my DC Wasteland is overrun with Giant and Albino Radscorpions. Wandering over to Bigtown from Meg and I can be guaranteed to run into 4 to 6 of them, hunting in twos or threes.

I think what happens is rather than compensating with your high level (30) by tougher individual enemies, what happens is that the game spawns a number of the tough ones. I've seen a few odd groups - I came across a massive all-in fight between half a dozen each of enclave and talon, with a few supermutants, a couple of deathclaws and a couple of radscorpions.

It eventually got to the point where I gave up on that character simply because it was a continual case of 'run-away from the pack of radscorpions' game.

I have noticed though that some of the enclave camps actually get bigger and better set up if you leave them alone for a while - going from the three or four troops to a dozen or more, and the little pre-fab forts get rather large.

Yes, that sounds right, I have experienced that. But here's another one: At the parking lot across from the Library, you get that one particular spawn of Enclave. Except the vertibirds keep coming. Three vertibirds touch down, one flies off, the other two drop troops, yes six troopers with plasma rifles. I mean..... I'm at a loss for what's going on. So nowadays, I create my own Plasma Minefield at that parking lot, because between those guys and Talon right around the corner (who are leaking towards the Library!!) it's just too brutal to go that way, unless I sneak in at night.
