Is there a time limit for killing the Master/destroying his army in the edition of Fallout in the original collection? I'm asking this because nowhere in the game does it mention a time limit, and although I've reached that part in the story I'm only level 10, so it's basically impossible to take on even single Nightkin.

By the way, does anyone have any tips for leveling, since I can't find any more side quests, and which weapons/armour are most effective (I'm using Small Guns)?

I dont think that it has time limit killing master. Atleast i didnt notice and im using that fallout collection too.

Well, .223 pistol is a very strong small gun. With that it is easy to kill enemies. But i had same problem, that i run out of quests in fallout 1 and had to grind super mutants near that their base what popped in the world map.

But 10-13 level should be enough to kill master and its nightking. Atleast i did with normal. But not sure it might not be easy with just a small guns.

I think one was triggered if you lead the water merchants to V13, but its very long (like years) and I think it was patched out. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Another thing: I tried to sneak into the military base using some Children of the Cathedral robes, which accordng to the wiki works, but it won't. The only speech option that won't have the guard at the door kill me is to have him lead me to the lieutenant, and then I'm stuck. Any hints?

You may not have the speech skill or Inteligence to unlock that option.

Personaly I use the radio to get rid of most of the guards, kill the remainder and then play dodge with the ones inside.
