Hard one there I am going for the Tommy Gun, followed by the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Bozar, The http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Browning_M2, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/MEC_Gauss_MiniGun and the Original Gauss Rifle.

I don't really have any weapons in Fallout 3 I enjoy. If the people burned to death the way they do in fallout one and two I would include the Burnmaster to that list but they don't.

I should make a video clip, for those that have not seen it. (the person catches fire and becomes a human torch, they drop their weapons and "dance" around screaming. They then fall face down a charred corpes.)

Fallout 3 the clothing does not even burn, and they don't even seem to notice they are being covered in napalm.

Combining both visual preference and efficiency, I'd have to say the Lever-Action Rifle. Common ammo, great damage, and looks awesome strapped to your back. DB Shotgun looks cool too but I find it too be wasteful and fairly ineffective. There are probably unique Energy Weapons that I'd like better, but I've yet to make a character that uses Energy Weapons at all.

Every weapon or description of a weapon I have read so far has been in a fallout game. You did not ask Fav weapon in fallout 3 just fallout.

...No one listed any weapon not in Fallout...

Personally, Fallout 3's Chinese Assault Rifles were so perfect for my favorite character. He was the BA who pushed people aside to get to the top. When he saw a wasteland captive, he'd kill them himself to save the captors the trouble. The Chinese Assault Rifle was a powerful, compact weapon that fit the bill for a slaver/raider/badass. The ammo was easy to come by, the Xuanlong variant was one of the better weapons in the game, and to be frank, it just looked awesome on the back.

Aside from that, I liked using the Incinerator for fun. Never used heavy weapons with most my characters, but if I felt like going on a rampage, that was my weapon of choice.

I'm looking forward to F:NV because I have the feeling they'll have more emphasis on pisols. I want to make a gunslinger, but I didn't really like any of the small guns pistols in Fallout 3, at least. .32 Pistol was weak to me, .44 scope took away from the gunslinger mentality to me, and the .10 mm just looked funky and was way too weak.

This thread belongs in the Fallout Series Discussion forum. My favorite would have to be either the Bozar, or the Vindicator Minigun from Fallout 2.

I've always had a soft spot for F2's hunting rifle, although the Gauss Rifle was pretty good too - particularly when one scored a critical hit, killing an Enclave soldier by taking a huge chunk out of their side.

I think Lincoln's Repeater is one of my favourites in F3, the level-action on it and the sound effects combine to make it very satisfying to fire.

With all that spare time, perhaps you could learn to write? Seriously, this is a forum, a text-based medium, learn to use it.

The .223 pistol- awesome weapon in an awesome game and an awesome reference to an awesome movie based on an awesome book. I'll always treasure the memory of first killing the Mother Deathclaw with an eyeshot using the .223 pistol (shut up). I played Fallout 1 after Fallout 3 and I still missed this weapon. =/

Also, the P94 Plasma Rifle. That was just a SCARY weapon. The Enclave Plasma Rifle had a cool looking design, but wasn't as huge as the P94 industrial.

I'm starting to like the .223 pistol. Lots of stopping power, and such an awesome sound.
