hey guys, i love the fallout series and fallout lore, but i'm not a fan of the fallout 1 and 2 game engine as i came in at 3, which is making it really hard to get into them....but i really wanna play these games...so i think they should be remastered or made a DLC for them..alot of people would love to play the games like this

Fallout 1 & 2 could likely be done on Flash.

Personally no, I'd not want to see the original games redone using Gamebryo ~despite the odd & ironic suitability of it for the task.

It wouldn't work out well, or it would have to be dumbed down to a massive extent. Many things that made Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 so great (controversial moral decisions, political satire, etc) would not pass the censors/sell well with the modern gaming community. Voice acting would be hard to do for all the NPCs as well (Which was a gift of the text-based speech where nonimportant npcs didn't have to be voiced). And their is little potential profit in remaking the game; most old Fallout fans wouldn't but for a variety of reasons, new gamers wouldn't like a game where exposition and story comes before combat.

No because any remake of the game would mean they have to update the content. There are things we can do in FO1 and FO2 that we can no longer do. If they were to be remake them we can kiss those good bye. They are classic games don't touch them! Unless you are fans making your own mods go right ahead. Devs Hands off Classic fallouts.
