Yes you read that right. for some (bleeped) up reason i can not finish the game .i have played three games and cant finish. and i want to play broken steel

i get to the point of walking out with the geck. There is that flash-bang. And i wake up to a black screen i hear everything i have my compus showing, i can move, i just cant see anything. I have even went as far as making it all the way to eden this way , just using the compus. And thats not easy mostly because of the stairs going up .I even went as far as making it outside to meet falk (hoping that would help) but no . BUT what i did find out by doing that was> I chose to give eden the codes and when i got outside "the explosions i could see" but not very well. But it just stays like that. I CAN NOT finish the game so how can i play broken steel? You might be thinking well how did i know where to go ? Because i have gotten past this part just fine in my first play thru but that game later messed up Quest wise to where i could not finish either. like i said ive gotten past this point and was still able to see without this problem . Its like my brightness/gamma is some how changed . Im on the PC so if Anyone knows the exact codes i would have to put in to finish that quest. 1 With me taking the FEV with me, 2 picking to give eden the codes to (boom) 3 and it including that i get falks. And Any help with this would be great and thank you .I guess i could put the codes in before the flash-bang and just not be able to loot the place. And i guess just travel there to meet falks?

I suppose you have it on PC, you did not say what console you have. All right, try this simple thing: take your most important saves (or all of them) into another folder (no matter where, just out of Fallout folders.) Then reinstall the game and when this is done, drag your saves from another folder to Fallout 3/Saves. If you have messed with something in the folders, this will fix it. Also, if you have important mods, take them to save too.

If this can't fix the bug, turn all your mods out and try to play again. Some of the mods may conflict with the quest.

If you have it on console, I can't imagine what to do.

i have not messed with any of the files and have only the official DLC installed. Thanks though at least you answered

dammit modderater why did you move it here? it is not an problem with my system . like i said already ,i have been able to get past this point just fine in my first game. thanks alot modd. now i will never get an answer in this place.

well just as i thought . Not much help to be had here. But im bumping this one time and crossing my fingers.

You said you have only the DLC installed, did you mean you have no other files or mods on?

And please be pacient, I have experience of annoying issues and how idiotic it feels no one answers you (I mean now like weeks without answer)... but that is a seriously weird problem, never heard anyone had that kind of one before.
