[RELz] Sotonhorian Armor Morrowind Edition

Post » Tue Dec 21, 2010 7:59 am

I've traced down the problem, just when I about gave up hope. It's the NiMaterialProperty under the Right Foot NiTriShape's color settings. If any of them are white, it gives the strange glossiness and broken texture. If all of them are black, the texture isn't white, but is completely hidden by black. I'm going to try to fix this by fiddling with the color settings, and I hope I succeed. Probably not. But still, Bahamut, do you think you'd be able to fix it knowing the source of the problem?

Edit: Okay, that isn't the problem. But it's changing the problem. I suspect something regarding the way the mesh refracts off of light is leading to the issue.

A lovely set of armor perfect for my first thief character. However its going to take quite a while to raise the necessary funds to buy it in game. Thank you!

Not downloading, cuz my lappy can't handle many mods, and glossy ones hit me pretty hard. But I wanted to stop by and mention that this looks pretty good. I think it will work well with VE. :whistling:

Also, not having dl'ed this, I can't tell if your the only one with boot problems or not Itachi, but thanks for looking out for the rest of us.

Mabye try doing this for diagnostics
-Delete all trishapes and NiTextureEffect leave boots only, remove both NiMaterialProperty and NiTexturingProperty, attach new previously deleted properties and apply base texture, if the problem remains still, it will at least tell us that its model itself, go check the boots ingame (rest of the armor will be invisible because we deleted it in the process

It still appears to be doing it. That limits it down to NiTriShapeData and NiSkinInstance.

No more MCP armors dependant, please.

I love MCP & use it, but I prefer standard stuff. Or at least the two versions, with & without.

I see you have MCP, but do you have gloss map fix on?

Yessir, I does. It's probably hardware limitations, I think. Oh well :/

The armor looks great, except for a problem I'm having with the gloves. They look like this:

Any ideas as to what's wrong here? I've run the latest MCP to add in the required items, but no luck. Only the gloves are affected. :-(

Had to make acc here to ask same question as on PES... But I see it's partially answered.

Bahamut, any chance we see that awesome looking beast unleashed? The moment I saw it I wanted it... BADLY

Please say yes!

You have a very strange problem here :/ It seems the textures are corrupted.
Redownloading and reinstalling the mod could solve this. I see the whole armor ok.
