Before I start, I know how to use DOSbox so that isn't the real issue. Whats happening is when I download Daggerfall by opening into WinRAR my speeds drop drastically, with an average of 5-15kb/s when most other files go at 400-500kb/s, when downloading it seems to stop halfway through and open into WinRAR, however a WinRAR diagnostic box appears informing me of an 'unexpected ending'. When I try to extract the folder, another error appears saying 'data is corrupt'. I have tried downloading 3 times now and the message keeps appearing, I have no idea where to go from here.

I am also using 32bit Vista.

Also, why I am here, does the download come with the patch? Or do I install that myself?

It's a 142mb file, the Bethesda file server is under a huge amount of pressure so use the mirror.

It comes with that patch but you have to run the executable yourself.

Just a quick question, I extracted it using 7zip which I just downloaded and extracted to c:/dosgames, but two folders transferred 'DAGGER' and 'DFCD'

Is this normal? Should I put them all in one folder or leave them out?

Now it's time to read the installation instructions!

DFCD is the Daggerfall CD used to install the game (through DOSBox or the installer) and DAGGER is the actual game. Enjoy!
